The Appalachian Christian Center is located on U.S. Route 219 approximately 2.2 miles North of Peterstown, West Virginia. The ACC is a nondenominational church that preaches JESUS CHRIST as LORD. We believe that every person who repents of his or her sin and accepts Jesus Christ, as Lord will inherit eternal life. We further believe the born again Christian will have a desire to fellowship with like believers and also have a desire to witness of the "Love of God" and tell others about JESUS. If you are looking for a friendly, Bible believing church, we would consider it a joy and a privilege to have you come and worship with us. We teach and preach Jesus Christ. The study of God's Word builds faith, strengthens family life, and is the key to spiritual growth of the Christian. Each Sunday morning we begin with Sunday School for all ages.
Our morning worship begins with a welcome to the congregation, announcements of weekly activities and/or special activities or services, then we take prayer request and spend time in prayer. This is usually followed with the giving of our tithes and offering. After the offering is received, we begin our worship. We place a strong emphasis on congregational singing as well as on individual singing. If you have a gift in music, we want you to feel free to share with the congregation, that we all might receive a blessing.
We offer Children's Church for all children ages 4 - 11. The children are dismissed from our morning service after the worship service.
After the conclusion of our morning worship, we preach from the Word of God. The Bible says "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the "Word of God".
After the conclusion of the message from the word, we conclude our service with an altar call. This allows each member of the congregation to respond to the call of God on their lives. We believe that God can not only save you, but can and will minister to each and every aspect of your life.
