A Message From the Pastor

2 Timothy 3 : 1 - 7

(1) This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. (2) For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, (3) Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, (4) Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; (5) Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. (6) For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, (7) Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

The Bible tells of the perilous times that are to come in the latter days. As we look around at the times in which we are living, we must agree that we are living in the latter days. God tells of these happening only to make us more aware of His coming. The Bible tells us "that day should overtake you as a thief". We can be prepared for the coming of the Lord.

The Bible says it is not God's will that any man should perish, but that all should come to repentance. I hope and pray that you have repented of your sins and accepted Christ as your personal savior. If you have never done this there are a few basic thing you must do.

1. You must realize that you are a sinner.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;


2. You must realize that you are dead in your sins.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.


3. You must believe that God loves you.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.


4. You must believe that Jesus died for you.

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.


5. You must believe that Jesus is the only way to heaven.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.


6. You must believe that God will forgive you of your sins if you ask.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.


7. You must invite Jesus into you heart.

Revelations 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.


8. You need to confess that Jesus is Lord and Savior of you life.

Romans 10:9-11 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
