Malachi 3:8 ... Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. (9) Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. (10) Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. (11) And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts. (12) And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.

We believe that to be obedient to God each person will tithe. Also if an individual or family should tithe we believe the church should tithe as well. Each month we tithe by supporting other ministries. The other ministries we support are Appalachian Teen Challenge, Inc., The Answer Ministries, Brother Mesgan Tedla, through the International Concervative Holiness Association or ICHA, Missions, and the Peterstown Food Pantry.

Appalachian Teen Challenge, Inc. is a faith-based ministry that reaches out to troubled youth dealing with addictions. This ministry is operates as a residential facility, open to both male and female. They teach the troubled youth that reach out for help, that Jesus Christ is the answer to being set free. Appalachian Teen Challenge, Inc. is located in Athens, West Virginia and is under the leadership of Brother Jim Nickels, who serves as director.

The Answer Ministry is another faith-based ministry. The Answer Ministry is under the leadership of Brother Robert "Jr." Totten. This ministry is based in Hurricane, West Virginia. Brother Jr. and his team minister in the jail and prisons located in the state of West Virginia.

Brother Mesgan Tedla is the missionary the church supports. Brother Mesgan is a native of Eritrea, South America. Once converted to Christianity, he found himself no longer welcome in a communist country and was forced to flee for his life. He escaped to America where he become an American citizen. Answering the call of God on his life and having a burden for his homeland people Brother Mesgan became a missionary. He ministries to several countries in South American and the surrounding region, by radio, as well as, personal missionary trips. Brother Mesgan operates as a missionary through the International Concervative Holiness Association or ICHA, Missions.

We also support the Peterstown Food Pantry operated throught the Peterstown United Methodist Church.
